So... what
IS OhRings
all about ??
OhRings is about MEETING PEOPLE ! It's one of the FEW social networks in the world encouraging you to get off the internet and get out again by giving you the way to meet people !
We ALL want to meet people right? So we join networks. But have you noticed fewer and fewer people are actually going out to meet you and you are at home more? People are realizing that sitting at the computer checking out profiles and chatting is a lot of fun... but it's not meeting.
Go out for a glass of wine
Be sure to let him know you're interested
But still, we all go out, see people walking around, and hope that they want to meet us. Right? Right.
Would
you like to know who’s available at a
glance?... Who you could approach ?...
Who you could actually talk to... meet…
maybe get together with?
We all
would !
But HOW
do you tell who you can say hi to?
How do
we know if anyone else is approachable…
How do people know if YOU are? If your friends are? With a new a ring, that’s how. One that shows that we are open to meeting new people.
Something
simple. Obvious… but not obvious…
OhRings are o rings that you wear on your finger to say ” Hey, I’m approachable”
Be part of the OhRings Network and
get outside meeting people too!
You can get your very own rubber o ring anywhere. They look like this -> o
They come in lot’s of sizes, so you can find one that fits you.
Wear one on your finger when you’re feeling sociable and you want people to know they can talk to you.
Be where people can see you. Maybe you'll find someone ! Wearing an OhRing is like being part of a BIG group. It makes you approachable.
People
will be able to see it on your hand
and you’ll be able to look for other people wearing theirs.
Get out and go
for regular walks
Ask
people if they want to do something OhRings Etiquette This is a great way to be able to approach new people and break the ice. But keep in mind your OhRing only gives you the chance to meet, that’s all. The rest is up to you. Some people you will click with, and some you won’t. It’s just the way it is. We ALL know that right? So if someone doesn’t want to talk to you… or if you don't want to talk to someone who meets you – for whatever reason - part gracefully with “ Thanks for saying hi, this OhRing thing works, but I'm not feeling a connection". And just say "bye" Really!
Go out even if it's cool out Want a golf buddy?
Get
your OhRing
on and get out and see
who you can meet !
Don't spend a lot of time on the site
when you could be outside though,
because people will be looking for you
out there... in your area.
So get outside... You won't meet anyone sitting at home.
Looking for a girl friend to do things with?
The Network is AMAZING. You'll LOVE it ! You can put up a profile, search for people in your area, and see who has an OhRing, create groups like Hookup and Hangout and look for events to go to! But don't stay online too much... because the point is to get out.
Go to
the park and look around
Use
your
profile
to say a bit about yourself, but mostly
to say where you
might be... like when and what you may be doing. Then get out there !
There are
Horoscopes so you can see what
kind of day you may have,
There is a cool
Guest Map
so you can see who in the world has an OhRing
and pin your location on it,
And
there is a funny
Web Cartoon
just for laughs !
Go to the Fair, Park, or local attraction check stuff out... or check the girls or guys out !s out !
